AT OUR CHELSEA GYM - 60 WEST 23RD STREET - 212-989-2300

New York, NY - January 2004 - The New York Health & Racquet Club (NYHRC) comes to the aid of its members with a hot new class that celebrates everybody's favorite side, their backside! BOOTY CALL incorporates several practices including: cardio, step, calisthenics, select yoga moves and even ballet. The first class for members and the public will be on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2004 at 7:30pm at the Chelsea location, 60 West 23rd Street.

Everybody's favorite weekend pastime gets a new spin this year. Firm and tone your butt from a gluteus maximus to a gluteus minimus with top trainers with an invigorating workout designed to target the trouble areas of the body.

The focus of this workout works on your core. Tight abs will strengthen and tone the core of the body and empower you to work your butt off, literally. Once the sweat starts, the workout begins. Body bars will also be utilized for a series of deep and power squats to target your butt.

Designed by personal trainer Taro under the supervision of group fitness director Maryann Donner, Booty Call was created as a playful total body workout. "Everyone has two primary areas they want to target when working out: the butt and the abs. The workout designed here will target the body's core to help you stabilize and strengthen your core, including your abs, while sculpting and slimming your butt."

The New York Health & Racquet Clubs (NYHRC) has been a New York fitness institution for over thirty years. With eight luxurious facilities located throughout the city, a company yacht for member's entertainment, and a beach and tennis club in Westchester, NYHRC has set the standard for fitness with the latest equipment and newest classes.

The club's mission statement is: Life is a gift. We invite our guests to forget the problems of everyday life and focus on their total health, fitness and peace of mind by providing an oasis that allows them to think less, feel better and live well.
